Author Biography
Dr. Percy Ricketts is a Licensed Psychotherapist and National Certified Counselor, who operates a private practice in Pembroke Pines, Florida. In addition counseling, he teaches parenting classes, which are mandatory for divorcing parents in the state of Florida. He also provides support groups and instruction for children of divorce using the internationally acclaimed Sandcastles and other approaches. Dr. Ricketts is a graduate of Virginia Tech, Nova Southeastern University and Argosy University. He has a Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology. He has published books on parenting, fatherhood and divorce, and a DVD on "Adjusting to Divorce." This is a revised volume of Before You Divorce: 101 Things You Should Know. Volume 1 was published in 2007.
