My story attempts to share a fragile lost child's cry to God for help and how He led me, like John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress, to BELONGING. My Norwegian church family helped filled a void but how do you fill a deep wound? The root of fear took hold sprouting anxiety in its wake. God called to remembrance my losses and illuminated my heart in processing and expressing my struggles.
Coming full circle to my early beginnings could only be understood within the family God placed me. My journey in seeking my identity and knowing God in the making evolved over a lifetime. From lostness to finding myself, from fearfulness to trusting God, from aloneness to belonging and in the knowing becoming me.
