Bert is a fun-loving unicorn, nervous about his first day of first grade in a new school. His first day is a success, except for a bit of blurting. Bert isn't concerned, but his mom is, especially since she has a different understanding of what Bert means by blurting. (Mom thinks Bert is having some flatulence rather than shouting out in class). Eventually Mom realizes the real issue. She and Bert work together to get a handle on his blurting, and all is well in first grade.
