Author Terrance Amen explains the main reason why Black people don't value themselves, and gives the example of how we spend almost a trillion dollars in every community but our own, which leaves our community to struggle and suffer. He goes into detail on how to solve this with a national plan of action that covers education, health, family, business, finance, and others. By simply redirecting 10% of what we spend will create new businesses, jobs, and deal with the other problems in our community. This would allow us to become more self sufficient, and not have to rely as much on others for our financial security. He asks, aren't you, your family, and community worth 10% of what you spend in other communities, in order to help them become the best that they can be?
