A human life is a onetime journey - like a boat ride. We each get one ticket to ride the current, swell and waves. Then the ride is over - if we are lucky we enjoy a whole ride. Many rides get cut short. We do not select the boats into which we are placed. It occurs by happenstance. We each have a unique experience on our boat ride. Throughout our ride we collect thoughts, ideas, images, imaginings and dreams. We store them in our minds as memories. Our memories fade, some are lost in the storms, currents, and eddies of our lives to become flotsam and jetsam. Some memories eventually wash ashore for others to find as the bric-a-brac of our lives. This book of stories and poems is a bric-a-brac collection.
