by Walking the Worlds (Author)

"Building Regional Cultus" is Volume 1, Number 2 (Summer 2015) of the Walking the Worlds journal. This issue explores the plethora of regional variants that developed and continue to develop within modern polytheistic traditions. In the ancient world there was a complex relationship between locale and cultus, one that contemporary communities often struggle with today. The articles in this issue explore that tension, what it means to be polytheistic in a post-modern world, and what it means to practice indigenous traditions often in locales so far removed from where those traditions were born.
