Business Insights: Building a Healthy Business is a book about my experiences and observations of over 40 years in the business world. During my career, I have held executive level positions in two Fortune 500 companies and created four businesses from concept to implementation. In those roles, I experienced and observed characteristics of both large and small businesses that were positive and negative. In this book, I describe the positive characteristics that will help any business prosper and grow. Throughout the book, I refer to a "healthy" business. This is my terminology for a business that encompasses all of the business insights I convey in this book. It is not necessarily a large business, but a business that is growing and prospering. Not all of the businesses I created were successful. The mark of a good entrepreneur is to embrace what works and learn from mistakes. Throughout the book, I will describe both my successes and my mistakes. My hope is that my 40 years of experiences and observations will benefit you, your family and your business.
