Max and his friends are on a camping trip at Camp Friendly Pines when he's stung by a wasp. Max gets a case of the Super Fidgets and devises a counting game to distract himself. If he loses, he will have to forfeit his campfire treats! It's not easy being a kid. And Max discovers that his games don't always work out the way he wants them to. L. M. NICODEMO is a schoolteacher who created Max and this series of books. She lives with her family in southwestern Ontario.
GRAHAM ROSS is an illustrator and designer who has illustrated many books for a wide range of Canadian childrens' book publishers. He lives in Merrickville, Ontario.
