Front Jacket

Who do you turn to when you have nothing left to give?

Caregiving is a core value in the African American culture. And godly women of faith often fill that role--for family, friends, and other community members. Yet no one is fully prepared for the disrupted schedules, unpredictable needs, and sleepless nights that come with caregiving.

The truth is that caring well for others means you have to take care of your well-being too.

Writing from her own caregiving experience, Jeanne Porter King shares 90 biblical devotions to encourage you to take time to care for your whole self. Each devotion ends with a reflection question and self-care activity to help guide you on your caregiving journey.

Draw from the perfect source of strength by seeking Scripture and prayer to sustain you. Your faith is ready fuel for the self-care you need as you look after others!
