by Alexandra Day (Author)

In Carl's Masquerade, Carl babysits while his owners attend a party. Amidst fun and festivities, Carl can't help but cause mischief. He joins the party with hilarious outcomes, winning games and sneaking snacks, all while looking after the baby.

Carl the good dog is 40 years old!
While it's unknown what that translates to in book years, Carl seems to be ageless.
Since Good Dog, Carl was first published in 1985, Alexandra Day has captured the hearts of readers of all ages with her charming illustrations and imaginative stories of Carl, the Rottweiler, following his adventures through over twenty books!
