Mac is helping his best buddy Ricky to track down his father. In the process they manage to track down a few other men, most of them thieves and one long-dead. In fact, they seem to stumble from one adventure to another. But with the only clues being the name 'Stephen' and the occupation 'ex-soldier, ' finding Ricky's father seems to be an impossible quest. There is little hope... unless God answers the prayer of an army chaplain. And unless God answers Mac's desperate prayer when he is trapped on a crumbling cliff ledge in an uninhabited bay with night falling, there is little hope for him either.
