Meet Charlie, a curious thinker with a big imagination--and a quiet confidence that challenges the status quo.
When a classmate says that a video game is "only for boys," Charlie is determined to show that anyone can be a great problem-solver. On a class trip to the museum, she steps up to play the video game that tests puzzle-solving abilities.
With each twist and turn, Charlie taps into her natural abilities, and reminds everyone that building confidence is just as important as skill.
Inspired by real research that challenges outdated gender stereotypes in STEM, Charlie and the Funky Monkeys Challenge is a vibrant picture book that sparks meaningful conversations about courage, belief, and the power of trying.
Ideal for ages 4-8, this story is perfect for classrooms, libraries, and homes that want to nurture confident, curious thinkers.
