This book contains 16 labs for high school chemistry using equipment typically available in the laboratory and consumable supplies easily obtained at local stores. Examples of labs include Paper Chromatography, Heat of Fusion and a lab titled "Salt and Ice Cream?" The majority of the labs are written in a two-page format to enable photocopying on a single page. Each lab has two versions -- each uses the same procedure but one lab concludes with 10 questions and the other has the student producing a full lab report. Suggestions for obtaining supplies and running the lab are also provided.
