Author Biography

Lisa Bashore, PhD, APRN is an Oncology Nurse Practitioner at Cook Children's Health Care System, Fort Worth, Texas. Her career spans 25 years including 14 years as the coordinator/manager of the Life After Cancer Program and Cook Children's. Her current clinical practice focuses on children/adolescents with cancer and genetic predisposition syndromes and how genetics impacts cancer care and survivorship.

Joanne Quillen, MSN, APRN has been a Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner for 19 years. In 2008, she started the first Pediatric Survivorship Program in the state of Delaware at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington. She enjoys working every day with survivors and families.
