by Somnath Das (Illustrator), A. M. Marcus (Author)

Did you ever notice your child looking at something, not really knowing what it is, but still wanting it?

In this heartwarming story of gratitude, Adam learns to appreciate what he has. He thinks he has found a house that is better than his, as he sees what appears to be windows made of gold

When he discovers that things are not always what they seem, it sets the stage for children to understand that the grass isn't always greener on The Other Side.

Even as adults, it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that someone else has it better. In a surprising twist at the end of the story, A. M. Marcus helps to deliver the message best expressed in the quote by C.S Lewis: "What you see and what you hear depends a great deal on where you are standing".

As with all books by A.M.Marcus, don't miss the powerful questions at the end of the story that lead the child to take ownership of the message in the quote.

"Instead of just telling your kids they should be grateful for what they have, this is a way to SHOW them why in a format that is fun and engaging." - Jennifer Hadley
