Author Biography
A few words from the author: My early childhood was on my folk's ranch. My entire human environment for the first ten years of my life consisted of Mom, Dad, Sis, the hired man of the time, and the teacher during the school year. Mom said that when I was learning to talk, I liked rhyming words like, "Cat hat" rather than "Cat run". In 1952 I married the girl that I thought was the pick of the field. There's a Cowboy saying, "If you can't trade up, don't trade." Well there weren't no "up" so I've never been through "the change of wife". She's been correcting my spelling ever since. We ranched most of our lives and retired near Red Lodge, MT. The first and last of these poems were written over thirty years ago - the others more recently. It is my hope that everyone who reads from this book receives both pleasure and spiritual growth.
