In my introduction I tell a tale and make the claim that I "discovered" the 12 Steps of AA, which may as well say 12 Steps of recovery as the wisdom of the Steps applies to so many addictions as well as mental-emotional disorders. I say, in the introduction, that I engaged in fervent prayer and when the light went on I was "told" to perform certain tasks. Each task was another Step along the path. And in the same exalted state of mind I was instructed to write down two things: The first on Love and how it cascades through the universe creating all things, even intelligent beings. The second occurred on the next day after I had completed Step 5, (sharing my writings). I was lead to write the verses, sayings and aphorisms that are found in this brief volume. Skeptical? Read the book and make up your own mind: Inspiration? or delusion?
