Author Biography
Henry C Lu is a licensed doctor of traditional Chinese medicine (DTCM) in British Columbia, Canada. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada and taught at the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary between 1968 and 1971 and has practiced Chinese medicine since 1972. In 1986 Dr. Lu founded the distinguished College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver. He believed that if traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture is going to take root in the Western world, it is not sufficient to practice it, it is also necessary to spread the knowledge of it to the Western people by means of education. The International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Vancouver has built, throughout the years, the richest TCM program resources in the Western world.
