In her early 40's, Jen broke free of the rat race of North America where bigger was better, and moved from Dallas, TX to Costa Rica with her husband. She quit her artificially lit cubicle job, sold nearly everything, and left all sense of stable income behind. Jen enjoys reading chick-lit (the best), mysteries, crime, and romance (of course!). When she's not writing or blogging, she is either hiking, baking, yoga-ing, sipping coffee, making arm candy, enjoying a glass of (boxed) wine, or yelling for her hubby to come save her from bugs.
