The heart-rending and dramatic sequel to Downhill
In 1990, seventeen year old Elaine McCairn was involved in a tragic accident -
an accident which took the life of an innocent child, and rocked the close-knit mining community of Castle Ridge. Unable to deal with the venomous accusations and small-town gossip, Elaine moves away and re-invents herself.
Hiding behind a new name, she finds love, and finds success as an author.
But the past won't let her go. And now she's being followed. Is it all connected?
Will Elaine ever be able to lay the Castle Ridge ghosts to rest?
Or will she always be followed by her dark shadows?
