What would you do to survive 6 more weeks of winter?
Day of the Hog is a darkly funny new play set in Punxsutawney, PA, where two hedgehogs brace for
Groundhog Day as the weight of a potentially extended winnter threatens their home, their survival, and
their love. As Phil's shadow looms large, what begins as absurd woodland satire slowly spirals into a
sharply tragic, intimate story about survival in a system that was never built for you.
It's furry. It's feral. It's a little too close to home.
For audiences who like their satire scrappy and their romance slightly doomed, Day of the Hog asks:
when the shadow looms, do you hibernate, or fight?
