The focus of the catalogue is on the collection of Chinese ceramics, which ranges from earthenware and stoneware to polychrome procelain, with a concentration on pieces from the Qing dynasty (1644-1722). The carpets from Lynnewood Hall, P.A.B. Widener's home in Pennsylvania, are also catalogued and published here for the first time.
