She Won't Let Her People Down
People's lives are on the line, and Katy Williams can't even pick up the phone.
She's learning how to edit without using her hands. Her wrists are still damaged from the arson fire last month. It's left her in pain and cranky. Although her reporters at the Plains City Gazette swear they can't tell the difference - she's always been cranky.
Funny. She thinks the arson fire may have damaged her sense of humor too.
It's Texas, 1988. The arson fire has exposed a white militia compound that's growing out in the east Texas pine country. The FBI want in to take a look. And the agent they're sending in?
John Williams, her brother.
It's not just her staff who are depending on her now.
