Author Biography
VLADIMIR J. KAYE studied at the University of Vienna, where he specialized in Slavic History at the East European Institute, and at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies in the University of London. In London he served as Director of the Ukrainian Press Bureau and, later, with the British Ministry of Information. He served in the Canadian Department of Citizenship and Immigration until 1961, when he retired to continue his research into the beginnings of Ukrainian Settlements in the Canadian Northwest.
