This library could be a tool for Spanish-speakers young and old to become more familiar with the Hebrew Alef-Bet, and perhaps develop an interest in prominent Ladino literature.
Author Biography
Sarah Wedekind has served in ministry leading worship, creating puppet shows, teaching Hebrew, training Bar/Bat Mitzvah students, and coaching drama productions. She received her BA in music and in the past has spent many years teaching piano. Currently, she is a happy homemaker. Between fixing spicy dishes for her Boricua husband and catching her toddler son as he attempts to dismantle the dining room chandelier, she stays busy with her studies and writing. Sarah is very excited to be publishing a collection in Nuevo Ladino which she hopes will inspire the Spanish-speaking community to connect with the Hebrew language and Sephardic history.
