by Michael E. Belongie (Author)
Embracing the Moment, the seventh poetry chapbook by Michael E. Belongie, reflects a contemplative response to daily living somewhat less-harried and respectful of waning opportunities to embrace all with youthful energies. Quieting allows enlightenment; a toddler grandchild reaching out to her golden retriever; each nurtured.
There can be no exclusionary strictures about what constitutes the contemplative. Neither creed nor mindfulness ensures enrollment. Numerous poems attend to a singularity of an event notably recognized in a refreshing, illumining and ascending moment.
With warm welcome, quiet yourself and allow that sublime to awaken within.
