This book tells the story of the historic Heber - Reno Sheep Trail as told through the eyes of a young lamb named Emily. Emily was born on an alfalfa farm in Arizona and she shares the experiences that she has as a baby lamb. At six months old, she joins her mother and 2000 other ewes to begin a 220 mile walk from the warm desert to the cool mountains of Northern Arizona. Author Biography

Cindy is a retired primary teacher who spent 36 years sharing good literature with Kindergarten and First Grade children. With a passion for preserving history, this book has given her a chance to combine her photography with a story that needs to be preserved and celebrated for it's unique place in Arizona's history.
