Sometimes we may say something to someone and they may hear us, but not react or show any emotion. Emotions can be difficult to express and understand, especially when dealing with issues like depression. Those who suffer from depression often put on a facade, pretending to be happy and okay when they are not. This is an example of unfelt emotions. It is impossible for one person to truly understand another's feelings unless they have experienced it themselves.
