Author Biography

A professional writer with advertising agencies in major US cities, Wilson created marketing materials, from print to broadcast, for some of the most well known companies in America. Author of five books, Wilson has shared his extensive knowledge of contemporary 20th Century culture and social upheavals throughout Europe and America. While attending college in Texas during the mid '60s, Braniff Airlines introduced "The End of the Plain Plane" ad campaign. With an uncle who served as a Captain for Braniff for thirty years, he became good friends with numerous hostesses who were based in Dallas. His last two books, "When You've Got It, Flaunt It - Real Stories of Jet Stewardesses" and "Flaunt It 2", a sequel, utilized Interviews from dozens of ex-hostesses from the most innovative air carrier in history. Wilson captured both the panache and elan of the Braniff Hostess corps with countless candid photographs, including graduating classes, in-flight pranks, and destination travel tableauxs remembered with clarity and emotion. His new feature drama screenplay, "Falls City," sweeps audiences into a rare glimpse into a time portal that details the tragic friendship of two young Braniff Airlines stewardesses who perished on August 6, 1966. Kit Wilson moved from Los Angeles to Seattle in late 2012. Since, he's created a "proof of concept" video dvd that's been submitted to Hollywood production companies and written the full-length novel from the film script, available through Amazon.
