Author Biography

Robert "Bob" Buess (1922-2008) was born in Wharton, Ohio. A graduate of Baylor University, he was ordained as a Baptist minister. Bob accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior as a young child and rededicated his life to the Lord at age nineteen while serving in the Army during World War II. He was a corporal stationed in Panama when he met his future wife, Lillian, whose father was working in Panama. She saw him standing at a bus stop holding a Bible. They married and raised four children.
Bob was called to preach the Gospel and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1962. He began to move in the gifts of the Spirit and supernatural signs followed his ministry. Bob was known worldwide as a prophet of God. He served as a missionary to Indians in New Mexico for twelve years and ministered in such places as Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Africa, Mexico, Canada, Europe, and throughout the United States. Bob motivated people to successful living, taught them to expect favor with God and with man, and liberated them from insecurity and poor self-image. He wrote several books and pastored at churches in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, including Sweeter Than Honey Church in the Houston area.
