Martha Shannon, a graduate of Asbury University and George Peabody College of Education at Vanderbilt University, has been involved in most areas of her church from nursery to worship leader. She has written skits and children's worship curriculum for her church. But her love for God's Word is what drew her to write this devotional. She is a retired special education teacher and enjoys some extra free time with her husband and two adult daughters.
