Oprah Winfrey's Master Class Series in 2009 on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), purported the idea that our lives can be a class for others. This book was birthed on that premise, to share my journey as a single parent in the home. The number of single parents continues to rise in the United States of America. This book was written reading God's hand in my affairs retrospectively; in the context of praise, thanksgiving, and victory.

It is my hope that by sharing my spiritual analysis of the journey and ultimately witnessing a successful outcome, I can inspire others on their journey.
