This book is a review of the few theories in the field of Information and Communication Sciences. It is a reference for researchers in communication, journalism and multimedia, documentation, and even other fields of investigation in social sciences (sociology and international relations) and linguistics (languages and business) in order to enrich their research phenomena.It is true that Information and Communication Sciences (ICS) are today a science at the crossroads where any other field draws its gain. The reasons are obvious, demonstrating that our aforementioned "science at the crossroads" is indispensable in human existence. A priori, great researchers in CIS, among others, Harold Dwight Lasswell, Georges Creel, Ivy Lee, Water Lippman, Eduard Bernays through their contributions, demonstrate how much the binomial information-communication is indispensable and vital without which, no society or organization can function nor exist.
