In the memoir, I take readers on a journey from the depths of adversity to success as an investor. Born into a humble background, I faced numerous prejudices and challenges stemming from societal perceptions of my upbringing. Despite the odds stacked against me, I remained steadfast in my determination to carve out a better future for myself and my family. I begin my recollections with my early upbringing in the Masaka region of Uganda, including my early schooling. I describe the years before entering high school, during which I had to take charge of my life. I then get into my years through high school and university and the time I spent searching for ways to leave Uganda to pursue further education. Driven by a strong desire to succeed, I embarked on a journey to live a better life and financial independence through education and investing. Through strong determination, I overcame rejections and unfair treatment, and prejudicial judgements to gradually and with very little money to thrive as an investor.
