by Brian C. Kershner (Author)

Logan Ranthall and the People of the Dragon, his group of faithful friends and followers, have felt the sting of loss and death that has rattled them to the core. In the wake of disillusionment from the fateful meeting with Cedric Binosear and the mysterious disappearance of Aryx Terian, a new shepherd appears to show them the way. This new guide, Emries, sets Logan on the first steps down a dangerous path that will lead him into a confrontation with his long lost brother, and then ultimately with the Master of Shadows, Shau-ling. But new revelations and dangers await, even for those loyal to the Shadows, as a new winged assassin hunts the phasia under orders from their master. The truth about the war between the Light and the Shadow is poised to be revealed. Will Logan and his companions be ready for the consequences of learning those truths? Will more members of the People of the Dragon fall on the path to victory? Will the climactic battle between the Dragon and Shau-ling plunge the world into Shadow forever? Or, will Light prevail? The second generation of the prophecies of the Coromor speed dangerously toward its conclusion in the third chapter of The Quietus of Fate: Future's Thorns.
