Author Biography

Author Adam Dennis received his JD from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. His many professions have included attorney, sous-chef, and touring musician, all of which influenced his writing. Gary and His Little Friend Jerry is the second collaboration between Dennis and Illustrator Herb Leonhard, continuing the adventures of Gary the gator. Dennis resides with wife and two children in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Herb Leonhard received a BFA in illustration from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. He is the illustrator of several other Pelican books, including The Cajun Fisherman and His Wife. Leonhard lives in Prosser, Washington.
