by Edward N. Wevodau (Author)
This book documents more than 200 people who left German-speaking territories in Central Europe for the New Land. Most arrived through through Philadelphia between 1727 and 1776, first settling in the Mid-Atlantic states. In this volume, all emigrants departed from either Baden or Württemberg. The compiler reviewed original German church registers and then sought complementary information in American records.
