Girl to Girl, Unfiltered is a collection of honest experiences and stories from eleven teenage girls on the topic of body image and mental health. Alongside photos, they open up about their struggles regarding self-image in hopes of benefitting other girls who may be dealing with similar hardships.
The goal of this book is to show teenage girls that they are not alone in their self-image struggles, and that the "perfect picture" that they see of influencers on social media is not always the truth. As a result of what we see in the media, we tend to scrutinize every part of ourselves in an effort to attain a "perfect" image.
