Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. This is simply not true. Words are hurting our children every day and we must teach them the truth: they are loved and valued by their Creator. God Says is a book that speaks this truth to our children. It recognizes the hurtful things that others say to them and responds with God's truth, supported by Scripture ("For we are God's masterpiece." Ephesians 2:10). Our children need to hear this message daily, particularly in these stressful and uncertain times: God loves them no matter what.
