Do today's Christians, especially our young adults, know how to discover God's will for their lives?
The Bible makes it very clear what is God's will for each of our lives, and it has nothing to do with what we do, but rather with who we are - our heart condition - our character. And the key to living a life that pleases God can be discovered as we answer four questions from Jesus Christ:
1) I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this? (John 11:25-26)
2) Who do you say that I am? (Matthew 16:15)
3) Will you lay down your life for My sake? (John 13:38)
4) Do you love Me? (John 21:17)
Living out the Christian life in an increasingly secularized American culture has two imperatives:
1) understanding who Jesus Christ is as a Person and His will for your life
2) examining your personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to grow in the knowledge of His working in you.
