Author Biography
Madeleine van Hamersveld is a midwife and professional writer. Working in a neonatal intensive care unit she experienced first-hand the impact of an early birth on young families and especially younger siblings. She decided to use that experience to write a children's book that helps young families understand and cope with the issues involved. It was originally published in Dutch and has been well-received by professionals and general public.
