I have experience with the dying through Hospice for over 25 years being present with the dying and their families. During this time, I asked Source to lead me in service for the sick and dying outside the medical system. In my spiritual quest, the journey began with a shaman in the Arizona desert, teaching me how to see the 'whole person' instead of just treating the parts. As an artist, combining the 'art' of the dying stories with visual art of photography brings the whole person into the reality that death is beautiful and can help one release the fear of dying. These stories are told from the perspective of the one who experienced the event and keeps the memory alive. The Art in this book is a loving presentation from Sylvia DeVoss using digitally enhanced photos as well as many photos from my journey in the world of photography. Please enjoy and share!
