Grandad's Journey: A Holocaust Mystery by Bernard S. Wilson follows the quest of an Irish high-school girl, Emma, as she unravels her family's past. Her search takes her to the Musée de la Shoah in Paris all the way down south to the French concentration camps of Rivesaltes and Argelès-sur-mer. She ends up finding out that her grandfather, who was adopted and had no knowledge of his birth-parents, was a Holocaust survivor whose parents had been deported from Germany and were later sent to Auschwitz where they perished. (An earlier version of the book was published with the title "See you soon Caroline.")
