ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ashley Matthews loves stories--both reading and writing them. From a young age, her mom instilled a passion for books that never went away. Ever since winning a writing contest in second grade, her dream was to be a children's book author. She believes words have the power to change the world, and they should always be used for good. In her spare time, she enjoys cuddling with her cat Olive and spending time with family and friends.
