Grant Me The Moon is the 2017 First Place winner in the short contemporary novel category of the International Digital Awards sponsored by the Oklahoma Romance Writers Association.
A field trip gone wrong. A murder investigation. A love that rises from danger under the wide Texas sky.
High school teacher Tory Fraser only wanted to give her history club students a memorable experience at a local archaeology dig. But when a shocking murder occurs, Tory's world is turned upside down-and one of her students becomes the prime suspect. Determined to clear the young man's name, Tory finds herself drawn into the investigation, and into the orbit of Grant Grayson, the rancher whose land holds both ancient secrets and deadly risks.
Grant took over the family ranch near Post, Texas, hoping to help his grandfather and preserve their legacy. When a flash flood reveals a prehistoric cave, he invites archaeologists to excavate-never expecting it would lead to murder, danger, and the arrival of a beautiful, determined teacher. As Tory and Grant work together to find the real killer, sparks fly between them, but the closer they get to the truth, the more they put themselves in the crosshairs of a desperate murderer.
Can they solve the crime and protect those they care about, or will their newfound love be lost before it truly begins?
Perfect for readers who love contemporary western romance, romantic suspense, Texas ranch romance, archaeology mysteries, teacher heroine romance, small town love stories, and award-winning short romance.
