by Alissa Ordabai (Author)
In her debut novel Alissa Ordabai takes us into the world of Joey Mormile, a wannabe rock star who will stop at nothing to get to the top. At 22 he is ambitious, cynical, obsessed with his looks and already has plenty of enemies on the unsigned London rock scene. His story is set against the background of the world where musicians squabble and conspire, managers exploit and manipulate their acts, music journalists follow their own agendas, groupies detest each other, and everyone is obsessed with money, fame, appearances, and procuring the right connections.
