This monograph includes photos from two Paris cemeteries-Montparnasse cemetery and P re Lachaise cemetery. The graves were documented during the author's visit to Paris in June 2017. The public tree "European Graves for Genealogy" at ancestry.com accompanies the photo-documentary included in this monograph. The tree includes genealogy information from the grave monuments, along with links to intersecting family trees and other information about the ancestors. This is the first volume of the International Institute of Anthropology's publications of different European graves intended to assist those pursuing genealogical information.

Author Biography

Research Professor Dr. Lolita Nikolova is a globally recognized archaeologist, cultural anthropologist, genealogist, and artist. She was born in Bulgaria (1959, Ardino, Haskovo) and graduated with a MH from Sofia University and a PhD from the Archaeological Institute and Museum, Sofia. Since December 2000 she has been living in the U.S., where she continued her education (MA-Argosy University, AAS-SLCC, ED candidate-Argosy University). She also advanced in her professional career as an international genealogist and top genealogist-contractor working for the most recognized private genealogy companies in Salt Lake City, Utah, and online (Universal Genealogy Center, Price & Assoc., Lineages, ProGenealogists (later AncestryProGenealogists), genealogists.com). Her research has included many on-site genealogical research trips in Italy, Germany, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Poland, Moldova, etc. On 6 April 2015 Dr. Nikolova joined the extraordinary team of researchers at AncestryProGenealogists as a full-time employee of the today's leading global genealogical research company (at ancestry.com). The International Institute of Anthropology honored her in 2017 with Recognized Master Genealogist and World Leader in Humanity Certificates for her extraordinary contributions to international genealogy and humanity in the global society. Dr. Lolita Nikolova is the author of numerous scientific works. The series European Graves for Genealogy comprises a photo-documentary from her on-site genealogical research.
