Author Biography

Dr. John C. Pulver is a Professor of Sociology at the College of Southern Nevada, where he has taught Sociology and Psychology for the past 24 years. John is a Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor (Nevada) whose previous practice specialized in couples counseling, recovery from addictions and abuse, and issues stemming from earlier family experiences. Informing his writing is the fact that he has experienced every type of family structure himself, except for adoption or foster care, and has decades of experience assisting others in coming to understand what has created the tapestry of their current lives.
