The Gunsmith has acquired many investments over the year, which enable him to ride the trail freely without worrying about money, and his various "partners" deposit his share into a bank account, which he can access from anywhere in the country. However, one day he enters a bank is Westfield, Kansas, and is told that his account has one dollar in it. Clint must now embark on a trek from investment to investment to find out what happened to his holdings, along the way having to take off jobs to finance his investigation.
