Lourdes Gutiérrez is a teacher and short-story writer. A passionate advocate of children's literature, she facilitates lectures on reading in childhood for parents and teachers alike. For the past 12 years she has coordinated a literary workshop for children. She is the author of many children's books, including La fortuna de Bertha and Hache.
